Inochi 命 consists of 2 halves in my life, Gaman 我慢, and Heiwa 平和. Life is about going through & experiencing tough times.  Hoping to share my works for people to resonate with these feelings and experiences of losing an individual in our life, social anxiety, being judged and wanting to have a purpose in “Life” to yearn for peace & freedom. Why the Japanese theme? Having made many Japanese friends, and falling in love with their language and culture, is one way for me to appreciate and show my gratitude to them and the experiences that I have met along the way.

Gaman, meaning enduring the seemingly unbearable pain covers the concept of all the negativity of emotion felt through my life experience. Stylized and inspired by Japanese culture and medium, relating the use of their storytelling and linking back to my meaning.
